Albert brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on fund administration, corporate services, and regulatory compliance. Since joining Trident Trust in 2016, he has focused on expanding Trident Trust’s local Maltese and wider European presence. In 2022, he was appointed European Regional Director for Funds, reflecting his strategic vision and operational leadership
Prior to Trident Trust, Albert held senior roles at Alter Domus Malta and Ganado Trustees & Fiduciaries Ltd. He also served as Managing Director at Custom House Global Fund Services Ltd and Equity Trust Malta Ltd. His early career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Malta spanned over a decade, during which he audited a wide range of financial services entities and completed international secondments in Luxembourg, Rome, London, New York, and Milan.

Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989, he is also a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation (MIT).
Chris retired from EY Malta as a Partner in June 2024 after 24 years of heading the tax practice there and currently is a self-employed consultant. Throughout his career which includes a further 15 years with another Big Four firm both in the UK, the Channel Islands and Malta he has sat on many committees including the Education Committee of the MIA where he was also an examiner for several years. He has been on the Council of the Institute of Financial Servies Practitioners (IFSP) for over 20 years and is a past President of the Institute and a former Governor of Finance Malta. Chris has also sat of the Taxation Committee of the IFSP for many years. He also sits on the tax working group of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise. Chris currently also Chairs the Corporate Services Group sub-committee of the MIA.
Chris has been the contact member for the ICAEW in Malta for the past ten years. His main hobbies are reading up on history and trekking.
